Who we are
Window King Caribbean is a Dutch organisation with presence in Aruba, supplying premium European windows and doors for Aruba projects. The data controller for this website is Window King.

What personal data we collect
We only collect personal data that you actively submit to us through the contact form on this site. That includes your name, email address, phone number (if provided), project location, system or project interest, and any details you include in the message field.
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking on this site. We do not build profiles of visitors.
Why we collect it and on what legal basis
- Responding to project inquiries — we process the information you give us so we can answer your request and follow up on a possible project. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in operating our business (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Operating the website securely — strictly necessary technical state such as session tokens for our internal admin area. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and similar storage
This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. The only storage on your device is:
- Cookie consent preference (
wk_cookie_consent, stored in your browser's local storage) — remembers whether you accepted or rejected external web fonts on this site. Kept for up to 12 months. Strictly necessary to honour your choice. - Admin session token (only if you log into
/admin) — kept in session storage and cleared when you close the tab. Not relevant to ordinary visitors.
With your consent, this site additionally loads Google Fonts (Cormorant Garamond and Manrope) from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Loading these files sends your IP address to Google in the United States. If you reject, the site renders in your device's default fonts and no request is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Who we share data with
Microsoft Azure hosts this website and the related contact form processing. Any inquiry you submit transits Azure infrastructure. We do not sell or share your data with marketing partners.
When you submit the contact form, the message is also stored within our hosting and operations workflow so that we can respond. We do not forward it to third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
We retain contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period afterwards (typically up to 24 months), after which they are deleted unless a project relationship has been established that requires longer retention for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent Dutch and Aruban law, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority — for Dutch residents this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

International transfers
When you consent to web fonts, the request is processed by Google LLC in the United States. We rely on Google's Standard Contractual Clauses for this transfer. If you reject web fonts, no such transfer occurs.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the way we handle data changes. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
